![]() I sincerely don't understand how I can possibly run a (highly optimized) Skyrim with 74 mods and yet this is becoming nearly unplayable with 5. My laptop is admittedly something of a potato (64-bit Windows 8.1, AMD E2 1.50 ghz with R2 integrated graphics, 4gb's of ram.), but like, it ran totally fine for like 3-4 days, and vanilla still runs perfectly. I also briefly uninstalled everything but Thorium and that didn't change anything either. None of this really seems to have had any effect. I already have the program set to high priority, I've checked to make sure I'm not overheating or something (not even close with an average of 52), I've tried both hialgo boost and razer cortex, and I even tried patching the exe to 4gb's. Put literally everything on the lowest settings possible, all effects are low or off, background is off, frame skip is on (it's usually kinda slow-motion without it anyhow), using trippy or retro lighting because they seem slightly better, tried switching to windowed mode, and while switching resolutions doesn't seem to have any effect, I'm trying 1040x768 even though I normally run it in 1280x768 (tried 800圆00 as well). The mods I'm running (with tmodloader) are: Like I'll be running and suddenly it freezes up for a couple seconds and then I'm like 20 tiles away.Īt first it was just while running around the surface (especially between biomes), but it's gotten to the point where every 1 in 3 enemy kills will probably cause a brief lag spike, or I'll get one just while walking or mining a few blocks, and even things like moving items in chests or scrolling through the crafting menus are really laggy. So I recently started a modded playthrough and played for quite a while without any lag whatsoever (long enough to build a large base, dig a hellevator, comfortably defeat expert King Slime & Eye of Cthulhu etc), everything was running smoothly as vanilla does and then I started getting huge lag spikes out of nowhere. Hopefully, your problem is resolved, and now you can efficiently allocate more RAM for your game and play with all the mods without lag or crash.TL DR: Modded game worked fine and now it lags like crazy for no apparent reason have tried virtually everything is getting worse and driving me insane.
